Biking is also a good alternative to walking, again if performed within an unpolluted environment.. Swimming is an interesting soft training, even better in sea water than in chlorated swimming pools.. When going to the gym for a cardio or muscle- But definitely the ultimate positive physical effort is when you derive satisfaction from it, like doing light gardening (or even heavy, provided that you heated your muscles properly beforehand).
